It's easy to find dystopian books that discuss about having a future where people have no freedom at all. I kind of wonder what would happen if we had too much freedom. In my English class, we are currently reading "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley.
I find the book to be really interesting, because it gives people a different point of view on how the world could end up. In this novel, the world has been unified into the World State. Every person is part of a caste system. There is no need for anyone to move up or down the rankings, because they don't feel the need to do so. Everyone in this world is allowed to do whatever they want to make them happy. They are allowed to indulge themselves with the finer things in life. They are also able to be with any person they want, and be able to do anything fun. Would it be good to have this kind of future rather than a future with no freedom at all, or could a future with too much freedom inevitably be disastrous?
